A series of nine black and white Polaroids deals with the subject of the “portrait”.

The blur as a stylistic device suggests silence, the cut is intentionally representative of the whole, the person who gives the work its name. Polaroid – a short moment on film – raw, authentic, reduced. I wanted to portray the fleeting, brief moment of meeting Liwam as exactly as fleeting, subtle as it was, but at the same time, as crude, authentic and reduced. Allow free interpretation through blur – make a world visible in the background of another world.
